Brick Building - Words Mat

Do you know a child or young person who LOVES building and playing with bricks? Lot's of children enjoy building with bricks because it is a visual activity that they can take part in and get creative with. Brick building is one of our favourite Speech and Language Therapy activities because there are so many reasons and opportunities to talk, pay attention, take turns and understand/use language.
 
This brick building communication aid is the perfect tool to support your child/young person when trying to understand the building instructions or explain to you what they are doing. The visuals help them understand tricky words and concepts and can reduce any frustration at not knowing what to do or how to build their model.
