Communication Book - Digital Download

We are very excited to launch our communication book for children/young people who have speech, language and communication difficulties. Not being able to speak is not the same as having nothing to say and children who are none speaking or minimally speaking need a way to help them express themselves.
 
A communication book uses pictures and symbols to give a child opportunities to learn vocabulary and sentence structures as well as increase opportunities for them to ask for something, make a comment, share their opinions and preferences, tell us what they need, make choices etc.  Perfect for any child who does not yet successfully communicate with others or is having difficulty being understood by others.
 
This pdf digital download, for you to print as many times as you like and make yourself, has pages for the following categories:

These pages can be added in or taken away based on the needs of the child - it can grow with them as they develop their communication skills. Some of the pages have picture cards that can be removed and changed based on what the child is enjoying at the time e.g. toys and activities.

This PDF digital download includes pages and picture cards for you to print out yourself and make up into the communication book. The picture cards include a range of vocabulary suitable for children and young people covering the above topics but if you have any specific requests for words, you can get in touch and we can help you with these.

This book is suitable for all children/young people from 18mths+ and is recommended for Autistic children, those with Language Disorder, Speech Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability, Selective Mutism etc.
