I need help - Communication aid

These visual cards for I need help or I don't need help encourage children to take responsibility for their learning and also practice asking for help/alerting you to when they haven't understood something.
 
They can support children and parents/teachers doing homework/learning activities together to know when the child will be successful working on their own or when they will need an increased amount of guidance and support. 
 
To use these cards, they will first need to be modelled to the child by the adult e.g. when you are sure the child needs help show them the I need help symbol.
